Using Carbon-Off! to remove Carbon Build Up from your Commercial Kitchen Equipment
Carbon-Off! comes in both an aerosol can and a gel. Carbon-Off! may also be used to clean the inside of kitchen appliances. Before using the commercial kitchen appliance, be sure to wash thoroughly with warm water and soap, and rinse thoroughly with potable water. Do not use on (or place appliance to be cleaned on) painted surfaces, plastics, acrylics, corian sinks and counter tops, anolon surfaces, calphalon or Teflon non-stick pans.
For Stuck-On Grease and Carbon Buildup on your Commercial Kitchen Equipment
When using the aerosol can, but sure shake well before use. Wear rubber gloves and protective eye gear and be sure your commercial kitchen appliance or equipment is cool and dry. Spray Carbon-Off generously, holding the can 8 to 10 inches from the surface of your commercial kitchen appliance or equipment. Do not get Carbon-Off! on your skin, the floors or walls or plastic tile. If contact is made with Carbon-Off!, wash off immediately with cold water. Leave Carbon-Off! on your commercial kitchen appliance or equipment for 15 minutes or up to 5 hours, depending on the thickness of carbon buildup. Test with small wooden stick to see if carbon is completely loose. Do not scrub, however when the carbon buildup is completely loose, wash under cold water tap using a bristle brush or pad. Carbon-Off! will not harm any metal surface no matter how long it is left on.
For Extra Heavy Carbon Buildup on your Commerical Kitchen Equipment
When using the liquid gel, be sure to wear rubber gloves and protective eye gear. Be sure your commercial kitchen appliance or equipment is cool and dry. Pour the Carbon-Off! Into a small
container, then brush the liquid on your commercial kitchen appliance or equipment, generously coating the appliance with a bristle or pastry brush. Leave Carbon-Off! on your commercial kitchen appliance and or equipment for 15 minutes or up to 5 hours, depending on the thickness of carbon buildup. Test with small wooden stick to see if the carbon buildup is completely loose. Do not scrub, however when the carbon buildup is completely loose, wash under cold water tap using a bristle brush or pad. Carbon-Off! will not harm any metal surface no matter how long it is left on.
Dip Tank Solutions for Carbon and Grease Buildup on Utensils and Appliances
Fill your drain rack with your commercial kitchen appliances and/or utensils and lower the drain rack in the dip tank solution until the appliances or utensils being cleaned are completely submerged. Let them sit up to 5 hours or overnight if convenient. Raise the drain rack to the drain position allowing excess Carbon-Off! drip back into the dip tank. Once the appliance or utensils have completely drained, remove the
basket to the sink or wash down area, rinse thoroughly, then wash with warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and wipe dry. Cover the dip tank with lid when not in use to prevent evaporation and contamination.
Special Instructions & Warnings when using Carbon-Off! To clean your Commercial Kitchen Equipment and Appliances
Only use Carbon-Off! in a well-ventilated area and avoid contact with eyes or skin. Do not store Carbon-Off! at temperatures above 120°F. In accordance with California’s Prop 65, this product contains chemicals known to the State of California that may cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm in laboratory animals. This product does not contain any substance banned by applicable Federal regulations.
